This week in Episode 2 of Local Knowledge, Captain Ali Hussainy and Captain Rush Maltz are headed to Abreojos Grouper Fishing ; road trip style. They tow their Andros boatworks 32 south of the border with the lure of tapping some of the best grouper fishing they have ever seen with friend Julio Meza guiding them. But it’s not easy as they endure 450 miles of narrow roads and trailer-testing stress. But the saltwater fishing at Punta Abreojos / La Bocana is worth the baja road trip and the big groupers don’t disappoint.
